We supported the leading global government digital unit in building the business case to redesign government platforms for the digital era. We worked within a multi-disciplinary team in central government to understand the current services, data, and financial impacts, resulting in an agile, programme business case. This demonstrated the strategic opportunity, and a roadmap to delivery, for over one billion pounds in savings. Following this work, GDS received a 900% increase in its budget, from £50m to £450m. GDS colleagues were particularly impressed by our ways of working and ability to integrate, as highlighted in the following comment from a director within the department “2020 consultants integrated very well with the rest of the team.
