Carolina has seven years of experience in the public and charity section in the UK and Colombia. A great part of her work has been focused on building partnership opportunities between local and national actors with public and private institutions. 

In the UK Carolina's work has centred around providing consultative advice to a range of clients in the education sector including primary, secondary, and special schools, multi-Academy Trusts, and local authorities. In Colombia, she worked as a civil servant at the National Ministry of Education where she fostered technical and financial cooperation with English-speaking countries to leverage resources for the rural education plan in the framework of the peacebuilding in Colombia.

Carolina has also been in charge of the accountability and report generation for more than 50 donors from the public, private and international cooperation sectors.

She holds a masters degree in Public Administration from University College of London and has a bachelor degree in International Development from the University of East Anglia. 

Outside of work Carolina enjoys dancing. Her favourite type of dance is contemporary, but she also practises ballet and salsa in her free time.
