Dr Mike Meredith
Mike is a performance and transformation specialist. He directs work across the public sector to improve equity of access and quality of service for everyone. Working with healthcare providers and planners, government departments and charities and has been helping clients for more than 13 years.
Ultimately, it is people who can and do make a difference. Mike focuses on setting the most positive environment for change, knowing that a making a change and learning from its successes and failures is much better than long periods of procrastination – he does not let the pursuit of perfection get in the way of progress.
Twenty years of improving services across many different areas have taught him that everyone goes to work to do as well as they can on any given day – a little dose of optimism and time away from the front line is often all they need to make things better.
This approach has led Mike to create some exceptional results with organisations in healthcare and the charity sector:
- Developing transformation plans for multiple cancer alliances which made screening services more accessible for the most hard to reach patients
- Transforming decision making within multi-disciplinary clinical teams, with national best practice rewritten as a direct consequence of the work
- Designing the future IT architecture for national public health programmes
