The PSC Joins UKspace to Champion Innovation in the Space Sector

We are very happy to announce that The PSC has officially joined UKspace as an SME member!

At The PSC, we are committed to pioneering solutions that ensure the sustainability and safety of space operations. Joining UKspace as an SME member marks a new chapter in our journey to drive innovation and excellence within the UK space sector. Read more below on our path to this point.

The PSC Joins UKspace to Champion Innovation in the Space Sector

Working with the UK Space Agency and the National Space Operations Centre (NSpOC) led to the development of its Monitor Space Hazards service, designed to help satellite operators monitor and prevent potential collisions in orbit - and we continue to expand the service to new users and use cases. By integrating various data sources, this tool provides timely alerts and actionable insights, empowering operators to make informed decisions and safeguard their assets.

Our dedication to understanding user needs has been central to our approach to that. We’ve conducted in-depth research to comprehend the specific requirements of civil users concerning space debris tracking. This user-centric methodology ensures that our solutions are both effective and aligned with the real-world challenges faced by stakeholders in the space industry.

Becoming part of the UKspace community connects us with leading experts, cutting-edge projects and vital industry insights. We hope it opens doors to new partnerships, collaborations and opportunities to showcase our work on a broader stage.

As a member, we are committed to contributing to the growth and dynamism of the UK space industry. We look forward to sharing knowledge, engaging in key events, and championing initiatives that push the boundaries of what's possible. To further this mission, we also invite you to listen to our latest podcast series, Space for Growth, where we share insights from industry leaders on how the space and satellite sector can contribute to economic growth within the context of the government's Invest 2035 strategy.
