Jonathan leads The PSC’s work on health and care innovation, working with ambitious senior leaders to transform care for patients. He also provides leadership for The PSC Board on our strategy.
Combining his scientific background, work in applying AI, and quantitative analysis skills together with qualifications in performance coaching, he ensures teams and systems succeed.
Jonathan is motivated by bringing together partnerships that embrace diverse views to achieve outstanding things – he has a long track record of working across systems and disciplines.
Recent results
Jonathan’s recent work building partnerships to deliver major changes includes:
- Building the business case for a world leading healthcare institute to serve 12 million people, bringing together three hospitals at the forefront of clinical practice with leading academics from two global universities and invest over £1.5bn in new facilities
- Digital programmes: developing the governance and roadmap for a leading digital health planning service across a whole NHS region; Establishment of a national AI capability in health and care following £250m investment by Government.
- Proposition development for an international healthcare academic and education partnership to build new medical schools in the UK and internationally, and create a new paradigm in health education driven by data.
