Known for his emotional intelligence and his ability to grasp complex problems quickly, Matthew always enjoys working closely with his colleagues to come up with innovative solutions that create tangible results. Initially joining The PSC as an intern in 2022, Matthew was encouraged to join full-time after being inspired by the collective passion for public services amongst his colleagues. In his time at The PSC, Matthew has worked on:

• Supporting an ICB with its yearly financial and operational planning - quantifying and doing the implementation planning for their commissioning intentions and demand management initiatives
• Identifying recurrent financial efficiencies in a Community Health Service Provider to meet a 3-year savings target, and redesigning their corporate structure to support the delivery of this target
• Providing data analytics and statistics support to a high-profile clinical review, enabling the development of new quality improvement initiatives

Outside of work, Matthew loves to stay active, and you’ll most likely find him playing football or planning his next hiking trip to the Lake District.
