Nivedita Prasad

Consultant

Nivedita is known for her analytical mind, capacity for complex qualitative work, and collaborative working style. With a background in economics, social policy and social research methods, Nivedita is passionate about uncovering data-driven insights to tackle complex problems across the public services. Her academic background and previous experience in financial audit and model assurance work at the UK National Audit Office allowed her to build expertise in R, Power BI & Python and translate analysis into valuable and comprehensible insights.

Her unique skillset has allowed her to deliver value on a range of projects at The PSC, including :

  • Working on a fast-paced vaccination project, producing data visualisations to guide strategy for increasing vaccine uptake
  • Modelling bed demand for an NHS Trust
  • Analysing variation in patient length of stay across an NHS Trust to help identify opportunities for operational improvements
  • Co-ordinating, mobilising and designing a national quality improvement (QI) programme for NHS Mental Health services, as part of the programme delivery team; this includes working with clinicians and lived experience practitioners to develop the programme design, measurement and QI coaching framework

When she’s not working, Nivedita enjoys performing Bharatanatyam (a form of South Indian Classical dance), singing and playing the keyboard.
