Lord Bob Kerslake
The PSC family is mourning the loss of our inspirational chair, Lord Bob Kerslake, who sadly passed away on Saturday after a short illness.
Bob was instrumental within public services. From housing to homelessness, universities to local government, health to climate sustainability, there was barely a part of Britain which he did not leave a huge, impactful mark on.

We send our love and deepest condolences to his family.
The PSC were privileged to have Bob join the team as a Senior Advisor in 2019, becoming our Chair earlier this year. He will be sorely missed by all of us in his many roles as counsel, mentor, problem-solver and friend.
Bob was in high demand across all walks of life and was clear that he was fortunate to only take on roles that he really cared about.
He believed passionately in our mission to make public services brilliant. Even after his diagnosis came, he continued to work with us to support us to be the best we can be. He was a true public servant.
Antonio Weiss, Senior Partner at The PSC commented: "Bob was an inspiration. A truly dedicated public servant. But he was also a brilliant man; kind, generous, thoughtful. We were privileged to work with him, first as a Senior Advisor and more recently as our Chair. We will all miss his wisdom, warmth and humanity. Public services have lost a real champion."
In due course we will find the right way to commemorate Bob on behalf of The PSC family.
Thank you for your service, Bob.
